I love to read!! a lot, all the time. I carry a book in my handbag and never go on holiday without at least three books. Reading has always been a
huge part of my life. Early memories involve curling up on my mothers huge sofa while she stalked round the room reading me "The Lady of Shallot" by Tennyson.
Mum won awards for her poetry reading when she was a girl and then taught English, she loved to read out loud and I loved to listen. As soon as I could read I did.

I can't do justice to the importance of books in my life. So I shalln't, I shall just share other things with you.

This space contains a number of things, some of my favourite authors sites, blogs and bookshop sites etc. You may notice that sci fi, fantasy and horror figure highly in
my reading. I love escapism. I hope in time to get my own librarything properly sorted so you can all browse my bookshelves.
